Oasis announced a new partnership with Pixel Realm to support early-stage game projects focused on privacy-preserving use cases within the Oasis ecosystem.
Oasis Collaborates with Pixel Realm to Support Grants for Early Stage Game Projects
This collaboration aims to strengthen the Web3 gaming industry by providing marketing and development support through Pixel Realm’s platform.
The joint grant program will support three promising projects launched natively on Sapphire or using the Oasis privacy layer for secret computing. Oasis and Pixel Realm will provide a total of $50,000 in ROSE, distributed according to standards set by both organizations.
Pixel Realm, in partnership with Yoda Labs, will provide comprehensive coverage of the grant and related events through social media channels, in-depth announcements, informative headlines, and Spaces leveraging key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the gaming industry.
Oasis will provide significant support for approved projects, including marketing, engineering and financial support. Oasis engineers will assist during the development phase by ensuring compatibility and quality control within the Oasis ecosystem. Additionally, Oasis team members will actively participate in Spaces events, offering their expertise and support.
“We are excited to support Pixel Realm’s initiative to expand the use of Sapphire’s hidden compute layer,” said Will Wendt, Director of Ecosystem Growth at Oasis.
“Supporting the early stages of Web3 games built directly on Sapphire helps extend intelligent privacy to every corner of Web3, while also supporting new projects in this space,” he said.
Pixel Realm and Oasis will use their extensive connections with game incubators and VCs to identify and source high-quality projects. Their network of game studios will also come on board to explore potential collaborations.
