Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced its decision to delist several spot trading pairs on July 6, 2024, as part of its regular market review process aimed at protecting users and maintaining a high-quality trading environment.
Binance Will Delist Select Spot Trading Pairs on July 6, 2024
The removal is due to factors such as poor liquidity and low trading volume.
The affected trading pairs are:
ECB/BTC
IOST/BTC
LINA/BTC
The delisting will take effect at 06:00 on the specified date. Despite the removal of these trading pairs, the availability of individual tokens on Binance Spot will not be affected.
Users will still be able to buy and sell underlying assets of delisted pairs through other available trading pairs on the platform.
In addition, Binance will simultaneously discontinue Spot Trading Bots services for delisted pairs. Users are strongly advised to update or cancel Spot Trading Bots before discontinuing them to avoid possible losses.
This move is part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to provide its users with a solid and efficient trading experience by regularly reviewing and optimizing trading offerings.
