If you have clients crazy about river cruising, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is planning announces its second annual ‘Rivers of the World’ cruise for 2024.
The 55-day itinerary departs on October 3, 2024, from Lima, Peru, and will take 68 guests on a journey spanning three continents, 10 countries, and four ‘Super Ships,’ including new-to-Uniworld destinations, special surprises and exclusive experiences.
“We’re thrilled to debut our second Rivers of the World sailing, back by popular demand, for 2024” said Uniworld President and CEO Ellen Bettridge.
“Our guests are not only planning to travel more, but they are seeking longer trip durations that can cross off bucket list destinations in one trip. That’s why we’re excited to be announcing this new sailing with an even longer, farther-reaching itinerary, bringing our guests across South America, Europe and Southeast Asia for the ultimate action-packed luxury journey.”

The trip begins in the Peruvian Amazon with a land stay at the Country Club Lima Hotel, followed by a weeklong cruise aboard one of two river ships, the Aria Amazon or Aqua Nera. It continues with a land stay at the Tambo del Inka Hotel in the Sacred Valley visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu, then features two exclusive hotel stays — first at Belmond’s Hotel del Cataratas to visit Iguazu Falls, and a night at the Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro.
The group will then fly to Amsterdam to cruise the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers on board the S.S. Beatrice. They’ll travel through four countries over 16 days, getting a taste for the varied delights of Central Europe along the way. Next, guests will head to France and board the S.S. Catherine for seven nights, travelling throughout Burgundy and Provence.
On the third leg, guests will jet off to Hanoi in Southeast Asia, staying at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. Here, the adventures will commence with an overnight cruise in UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay, to see some of the 1,600 islands and limestone pillars.
Guests will have exclusive access to Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and be treated to a candlelight dinner at the Kravan Temple built in the 10th century. Then they’ll embark on Uniworld’s Super Ship, the Mekong Jewel.
The fourth and final cruise will disembark in My Tho, where guests will then transfer to The Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City for their final land stay and grand finale gala dinner event at the stylish rooftop Chill Skybar.
The Rivers of the World itinerary is all-inclusive including onboard dining, unlimited premium wine, beer and spirits, Wi-Fi, excursions, scheduled airport transfers, onboard gratuities and flights between cruise segments. The sailing also features a dedicated Traveling Concierge that will accompany guests for the entire journey to assist with all needs.
