A male youth was struck by a vehicle in Mississauga Monday evening.

The collision happened at the intersection of Confederation Pkwy and Hillcrest Ave. at around 7 p.m.

The youth was transported to the trauma centre.

Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, Peel Police tweeted that the youth’s injuries were “non-life threatening.”

Hillcrest Ave. from Confederation Pkwy to Anastasia Terrace remained closed for several hours.

The roads were re-opened just after 1 a.m.

Police continue to investigate the collision. They did not provide further details.
