Shoppers will have two Christmas markets this weekend to find that special gift.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Georgetown Holiday Market returns as presented by the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the market will take place on Main St. S. and will see local business along with craft and food vendors selling a variety of goods.

As well, hockey-themed activities will be taking place along with musical entertainment. An appearance from Santa Claus is also expected.

Then, on Sunday, Dec. 4, Main St. in Glen Williams will play host to its own Christmas Market from noon to 6 p.m.

This event, presented by the Glen Williams Town Hall, will host 30 vendors and food trucks and feature such holiday characters as Frosty the Snowman and the Grinch who will be on hand for photo opportunities. It will all lead up to the Christmas tree lighting at 5 p.m.
