Halton Hills native Sarah Fillier has joined by the BioSteel Sports Nutrition team.
The Canadian National Women’s Hockey Team forward is one of four elite hockey players signed by the Canadian company to promote its sport drinks and brand at events and on social media.
Fillier, 22, along with Laila Edwards (US Women’s National Team), Calla Frank (US Women’s National Team) , and Jade Iginla (Canadian Women’s National Team), join “Team Bio Steel” as the brand’s inaugural season as Official Hydration Partner of the National Hockey League gets underway.
“I’m excited to officially be a part of the BioSteel team,” said Fillier, member of Team Canada and gold medalist. “Being focused on what I put into my body is critical for success on the ice, and I look forward to supporting my game with the brand’s hydration products.”
The company said the four national team players represent the next generation of athletes and will show how they incorporate BioSteel sports drinks into their daily hydration routines.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Laila, Sarah, Calla and Jade to our team of elite athletes,” said Michael Cammalleri, Co-Founder of BioSteel and NHL veteran. “These athletes represent the next generation, and we look forward to supporting them on and off the ice with our lineup of zero sugar hydration products as they take their games to the next level and inspire their communities.”
