An Ottawa woman living in Brampton has been missing for weeks, and police are asking the public for any tips that might help locate her.

Peel Regional Police say 60-year-old Rahel Hassen went missing in the area of Kings Cross Rd. and Knightsbridge Rd. in Brampton around 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 11.

Police initially said Hassen was 52-years-old and was last seen near Clark Blvd. and Bramalea Rd.

Hassen was temporarily living in Brampton and is originally from the Ottawa area, and family members say they are concerned for her well-being.

Hassen is described as a female with light brown skin, standing five-foot-six-inches tall with a medium build, short curly black hair, and brown eyes.

She has no scars or visible marks, and was last seen wearing a dark green hijab, green sweater, white t-shirt, black ankle dress with red polka dots, and black and white running shoes.

Anyone with information on Hassen or who may have seen her is asked to call police at (905) 453–2121, ext. 2133.

Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
