A man who broke into two Hamilton Mountain pharmacies only minutes apart last month is being hunted by police.

Hamilton Police took to social media today (Oct. 24) to ask for the public’s help in finding the culprit responsible for the Sept. 18 pharmacy break-ins in which various items were taken.

According to police, the culprit first targeted a Mohawk Rd. E./Upper James St. pharmacy at about 11:40 p.m. on the Sunday night (Sept. 18).

He then quickly made his way to another pharmacy close by and stole goods from that business as well.

The culprit fled the area in a car described as a gold-coloured Toyota.

The wanted man is described as 40 to 45 years old, standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with an average build and wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket, dark track pants, grey running shoes, black gloves and a surgical mask

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-540-6329 or 905-546-2991. Anonymous tips can also be left by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
