An incident in north Pickering has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are in the area of Hwy 7 and Sideline 24 investigating an incident in a field just east of the location, Durham Regional Police said in a tweet on Sunday (Oct. 23) around 2:30 p.m.

There are few details but police say two people were transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The Ministry of Labour will be attending, police added.
