Shots fired in Hamilton neighbourhood

Hamilton Police are investigating after shots were fired in a West Mountain neighbourhood last night (Oct. 22).

According to reports, just after 11 p.m. police were called to Purnell Dr. after calls came in about a disturbance.

After investigating, police believe a gun was discharged in a parking lot within the apartment complex.

There were no reported injuries.

At this time, police believe the incident was a targeted shooting and they are appealing to residents of the area to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity around the time of the shooting.
