At just 1,011 sq. ft., the little house at 3170 Burrard St. is by no means big.
Or average. At best it’s small, for a standalone home.
The 2-year-old house is up for sale right now, for $1.475 million. That’s about $1,460 per square foot of living space, which is maybe to be expected in the Shaughnessy border area.
In that space, the homeowners will get two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a covered porch area. There’s also an attached garage.
This tiny home is part of a freehold strata, so while the new owners won’t own the property the house is on outright, it’s similar.
While nearly $1.475 million may sound high for the rather small location, B.C. Assessment’s evaluation isn’t far off. In its recently released 2022 report it values the spot at $1.41 million.
